Bachelor pad. Derbyshire.
Our client required a contemporary serviced apartment bolthole while working away. A bachelor pad theme, that would be very different to his London town house.
With part of the mill converted into one and two-bedroom luxury apartments, the four-storey building with its green-capped ornamental clock tower dominates the Derbyshire skyline.
With exposed brickwork, high ceilings and full length sash windows flooding light into the open living room area and bedrooms, we successfully combined bold colour and pattern with a finesse that never looks overworked.
Unfussy two-tone linen curtains, luxurious woven linen motif two-seater sofa, velvet scatter cushions, a statement silk rug, bespoke artworks and customised leather chairs.
This apartment feels freshly refurbished but sensitively in keeping with the Victorian look of the building in which it sits.
