Garden Cottage is located on a quiet road in the heart of the vibrant market town, of Chipping Norton. The owner was renovating and wishing to create a cosy two bedroom cottage for holiday letting.
Situated over three floors, a home from home experience. It is a charming period property with an extensive garden with high Cotswold stone wall, unusual for cottages in the street it occupies.
We took the inspiration for the new look kitchen from the beautiful, well stocked garden. Cosy colour palettes of greens, mustard yellows and chocolate browns mixed with tactile textured linen and cotton fabrics, feature thistle illustrations and chocolate brown piped trims to achieve a harmonious, comforting vibe.
Hand painted in the stylish green hue, and featuring integrated appliances throughout, the classic bespoke kitchen’s charm was enhanced with beautiful oak worktops to convey a country, rustic feel.
To complete the stylish design of open plan living, we sourced deep sumptuous sofas and wool throws to snuggle in front of the cosy log burning stove. And linen for the charming bedrooms was also chosen along with soft, luxurious towels for the bathroom to complete the idyllic holiday home retreat.
